Hello Greater Frederick County Rising Stars Middle School Boys and
Girls All-star Regional Players, Parents, Coaches and Families,
Again - we like to thank you, your parents, players, coaches and
team for being part of this Middle School Boys and Girls / Community Event for our All-Stars featuring
the Frederick County All-Star Cheerleaders and
All-Star Kids. Without you - this would just be another day at the
gym.
As we prepare for the event, below are a few things you may want
to pass on to your friends and family and anyone you know who may want to
attend the event. Also, I want to
personally thank each of you who placed a "Shout Out" in our event
program guide as support of this special day for the youth in our community.

Schedule of events for
the day can be found on the BCWB website. First game for the March 17th (Boys) will start at 1:30 PM (doors will open at 1:00 PM). Please do not arrive to the gym before 1 PM
and for the March 18th (Girls) will start at 12:30 PM (doors will open at 12:00
Noon). Please do not arrive to the gym
before 12:00 Noon.
Please make sure everyone in your organization/family has access
to directions to the location (on the BCWB website at www.bcwb.org), game times
and what to do when they arrive at the gym.
All teams, coaches, players and assistant coaches are asked to
report to the Team Check-In table. Here we will give you your team
Jerseys.
We will have a multiple
of activities going on throughout the
day to include a concessions stand, music, professional photographer, Video,
All-Star Cheerleaders and player introductions. There will be an event program guide
available for purchase (we like to thanks everyone who submitted their “Shout
Out” of encouragement to the players, cheerleaders and organizations. Professional pictures will be available for
purchase onsite. We may also have event T-shirts for sale in the lobby – make
sure you get an event t-shirt to remember this special day.
When you arrive to the event site / gym there will be signs on the
Doors for the players, coaches and cheerleader to enter, please follow the
signs as this will allow us to keep the entry door organized. All paying attendants should follow the
General Admission Sign (on the door).
Please – very important – do not
bring basketballs to the gym.
Coaches will have basketball for the team. If you bring a basketball, our door and site
event staff will ask you to take it back to the car. Also – once you enter the gym site, you will
not be allowed to re-enter during games.
However, you can leave and return once games end and start.
We ask that everyone please conduct themselves in a safe and
orderly manner. Remember to keep this
day special for the players, cheerleaders, coaches and teams. We hope you can spend the day with us at the
gym, there will be plenty of entertainment, Food, Fun, Friends and some of the
best Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball being played in the region.
