Thank you for your team interest in
being part of our Fall Regional Basketball Program for High
School Boys. We are looking at an "out of
the box" idea which would incorporate more of a
"scheduled game" / end of the Fall season Tournament
format to allow your team to play competitive Basketball at the
highest level while continuing to play in your respective local
Fall Basketball Leagues/Programs at a really affordable cost.
We are a 501C 3 organization which
has been doing Basketball, Educational and Community programs
for 15 years in the Frederick County, Frederick Maryland area.
We are the promoters and originators of the Greater Frederick
County Rising Stars Allstar Game for Middle School Boys and
Girls which has been very successful over the last two

This Fall, we believe we have a
combination of one of the best High School (10th/11th/12th)
grade Boys teams in the Maryland region. These players
will be standout players on their respective high school teams
in the Winter.
Our Fall format would require you
to play as little as one competitive basketball game during the
Fall season against our host high school team. Concluding
with a End of the Fall Season - Fall Regional Challenge Classic
Basketball Tournament.
The program is designed to allow
you to continue your scheduled local Fall Basketball activities\Leagues
while participating in competitive basketball outside of
your current Fall Schedule. All concluding with a Regional
Tournament (members only) at the conclusion of the Fall
Basketball Season (Oct/Nov timeframe).
We are seeking 7 High School
Boys Teams to join membership (first - registered first-served)
to our Fall Regional Challenge Classic Basketball Tournament.
As part of the membership in the Tournament, each of the 7 teams
in the membership will play one game against our host BCWB team
during September 6th to October 25th. Preference for
the game to be played will be on a Saturday (but can be
negotiable).
BCWB will host all games (high
school regulation court, IAABO officials) - each team in the
membership will submit the date best for them to play our host
team (between September 6th to October 25th - we prefer on a
Saturday). There will be no door charge
(game entry is Free) to the games. The only
expense you and your parents will have is travel to the host
site. However, There is a $50 membership fee to cover officials
for the "one fall season game" played.
At the conclusion of the Fall
season (after October 25th and before November 10th) all 8 teams
in the membership will enter into a Fall Regional High School
Challenge Tournament - host by BCWB. The fee to
enter the tournament will be $100 per team. Three game
minimum tournament. High School facility / IAABO
Officials. Awards will be presented to Champions and
Runner- up.
Basically - that's the concept.
We are currently seeking to get commitments from teams from
counties North, East, South and West or even in surrounding
states.
We feel this will be a great
opportunity for our High School players to compete in the most
competitive environment while competing in their own local Fall
Basketball Leagues. We are only asking for a 1 game
commitment during the Fall season and entrance into the end of
the season Fall Regional High School Challenge Tournament.
To get started all you
need to pay at this time is the minimum one-time team membership
entry fee of $50 (per team). The $100 entry fee for the Fall
Challenge Regional Basketball Tournament can be paid now or no
later than October 15th.
