Senior Division Scores - July 19, 2008

Knicks  47   Charlotte 42
In the Friday night contest  under the lights the knicks trailed the pesky Bobcats by 4 points, The Knicks came out in the 2nd half and outscored the Bobcat's 23 to 14 to go on and win the game 47 to 42. Leading the way for the Knicks with a game high was Dwayne Whiten, Jr. with 25 points with 14 of those coming in the 2nd half.  Paul Mclister was the other Knick in Double figures with 13 points.  Charlotte was led in scoring by James McGee with 12 points followed by Stefan Farinha and Michael Pitts with 10 points a piece.
Dallas 52  Bulls 49
In a highly contested match up between two of the higher seeded teams jockeying for playoff position saw Dallas hold on to beat the Bulls 52 to 49 in a seesaw contest.  Dallas was led in scoring by Blake Shepherd with 21 points followed by David Feuz with 11 points.
Lamont Wims led the bulls with 16 points followed by CJ Ingram with 9 points.
T-Wolves  44  Lakers  32

 

T-Wolves jumped out to a 10 point lead never looking back beating the Lakers 44 to 32. T-Wolves were led in scoring by Craig Johnson with 21 points followed by Sam Lavala with 8 points.  The Lakers were led in scoring by Michael Krojeski with 10 points followed by Rob Lapham with 7 points.

Portland 50  Cleveland 49

 

Portland held on to beat the Cavaliers 50 to 49 and earning there first victory of the year.  Portland was led in scoring by Joseph Eurie with a game high 22 points followed by Jaylen White with 18 points.  Mark Hoy Jr. Led the Cavaliers with a team high 14 points followed by
Tyler Oseneek with 13 points.

The Lakers were led in scoring by Tony Dowdy and Brandon Simms with 9 points a piece.
Cleveland was led in scoring by Mark Hoy Jr. with a game high 12 points.
Dallas 64 Portland 49
Dallas was led in scoring by Blake Shepard with 13 points followed by Trevor Rogers with 12 points.  Portland was led in scoring by Jaylen White with 13 points.
Timber Wolve's 55 Charlotte 25

 

T-Wolve's were led in scoring by Markus Davis with a game high 15 points followed by Troy burns with 12 points.  Charlotte was led in scoring by James Magee with 6 points.
Bulls 67  Knicks 47
The Bulls was led in scoring by Joe Atmonavage with a game high 20 points. Followed by Shihee Bowie with 11 points. The Knicks were led in scoring Dwayne Whiten Jr. with 14 points (2 dunks) in the contest followed by Paul McLister with 11 points.

This week we had a Reunion Game that involved past players from the BCWB Youth Summer League.  The East was coached by Dwayne Whiten, President of BCWB and the Dallas Coach Charlie Thomas.  The West was coached by Darryl Whiten, Director of the Sr. Division of BCWB and BCWB Youth Summer Camp Director.  Here are the scores and highlights.

T-Wolves were led in scoring by Xavier Stewart and Craig Johnson with 14 points a piece.
The Bulls were led in scoring by CJ Ingram with a game high 16 points.

 

Knicks 60 Cleveland 44

 

The Knicks were led in scoring by DJ Whiten with a team high 16 points followed by Ben Lewis with 11 points and Tommy Welch with 10 points.
The Cavaliers were led in scoring by Darryl Sanders with a game high 17 points and Mark Hoy, Jr. Chipped in 9 points.

The Lakers were led in scoring by Tony Dowdy with 11 points followed by Michael Krajewski with 8 points.  Dallas was led in scoring by David Feuz with a game high 18 points followed by Blake Sheppard with 10 points.

Charlotte was led in scoring by Stefan Farinha with a team high 15 points followed by Tucker Morgan with 9 points.  The Trail Blazers were led in scoring by Forest Mason with a game high 20 poitns followed by Dominique Young with 8 poitns.

Dallas 35    Timberwolves 28

In the first match up of the day of in the Senior Division the Dallas Mavericks came from behind to beat the T-Wolves by a score of 35 to 28.  The Mavericks were led in scoring by David Feuz with a game high 12 points followed by Blake Sheppard with 11 points.  The T-Wolves were led in scoring by Craig Johnson with 11 points.

Charlotte 42     Clevelend 27

The 2nd game of the day between Charlotte and Cleveland was a very fast pace game with Charlotte starting fast and coasting to a 42 to 27 victory over the cavaliers.  The Bobcats were led in scoring by James Magee with a team high 12 points followed by Stefan Farinha with 10 points.  The Cavaliers were led in scoring by Darryl Sanders with a game high 13 points.

Bulls 45     Lakers 30

In the battle of the unbeaten's the Bulls defeated the Lakers by a score of 45 to 30.  The Bulls led in scoring by CJ Ingram with 11 points followed by Joe Atmonavage and Jordan Clayton with 9 points a piece.  The Lakers were led in scoring by Robert Lapham with 10 points.

Knicks 70      Portland 55

The finale of the day was a rematch of last year Championship game between the Knicks and the Trail Blazers.  The Knicks jumped out fast never looking back cruising to 70 to 55 victory of the Trail Blazers improving there record to 2-0.  The Knicks had 5 players in double figures. D.J Whiten had a team high 18 points. Followed by Tommy Welch and Prince Roberts with 11 points a piece. Paul McLister and Ben Lewis chipped in 10 points a piece.

Lakers was led in scoring by Robert Lapham with 17 points
Portland was led in scoring by Forest Mason with 14 points. 
Knicks 60   vs      Dallas 43

 

The Knicks was led in scoring by D. J. Whiten with a game high  17 points followed by Tommy Welch with 13 points.
Dallas was led in scoring by Blake Sheppard with 12 points. 
T-Wolves 43  vs  Cleveland  31

 

Rachel Johnson led the T-Wolves with a game high 15 points. Followed by Sam Lavala with 15 points.
Mark Hoy Jr. paced the cavaliers with 13 points.
Chicago 63   vs    Charlotte 29
The bulls were led in scoring by the duo of Lamont and Kenny Wims with 10 points a piece The Bobcats were led in scoring by Jay Dennis with 10 points.
