organized into Junior High basketball conferences made up of select teams
from various counties in Central Maryland. Although not affiliated with
the public school system, all teams represent defined middle school draw

Mid-Maryland websites for more information about the League.
As a member of the Mid-Maryland
Basketball League all players are required to meet the following
eligibility requirements. Player Eligibility Ř
No varsity
player may attain the age of 15 prior to Jan. 1 of the current playing
season and no jayvee player may turn 14 prior to Apr. 1 of that season. Ř
Players must
also remain academically eligible with no failing grades and a minimum 2.0

Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries holds
academic excellence as a cornerstone to preparing student
athletes for life’s opportunities. BCWB requires a commitment
from the student athletes
and the parent(s)/guardian(s). In order to fulfill the academic
reinforcement element of our mission, all student
athletes
must maintain academic eligibility throughout the Mid-Maryland Basketball
League season. In the event a student-athlete does not meet the academic
requirements, BCWB will provide free assistance with getting tutors to
help our student-athletes bring their grades up to the required standard. Mid-Maryland Basketball requires us to acquire, document and place in safekeeping proof of birth and academic eligibility for all Boys Program student-athletes. |
