new Generation of Coaches for
the next Generation of Student Athletes
TJMS Mid-Maryland Scholarships are available to eligible families. You must meet the requirements below. BCWB will provide 2 scholarships per team. Scholarship will cover the cost 50% of the program membership fees. You must submit the proper paperwork to request a scholarship. Only one scholarship per family.

Player Scholarship Criteria
(Eligible participants)
- Applicant must be a current student in Thomas Johnson Middle School draw area.
- Must be currently enrolled in school
- Applicant must meet BCWBRC/Mid Maryland Player Eligibility
- If you receive Free Lunch, Temporary Cash Assistance or Medical Assistance from Frederick County Department of Social Services
- If you live in subsidized housing
- Household income may not exceed $37,800.
- Applications must be submitted in full to BCWB Recreation Council by the start of the current basketball season.
